The final publication of the HAPHE project, bringing together all the work of the project including the definition and quality characteristics for Professional Higher Education, a cross-comparison of PHE provision across Europe, examples of best practice and recommendations for policymakers.
The report contains many of the common practices developed and refined by participants and RadioActive researchers across this European partnership over the last two years. And there are several examples of the significant impact felt by some of the individuals who became ‘radio-activists’ along the way.
The project began by conducting a series of research and surveys, analysing state of play and
highlighting best case practices in European Higher Education Area (EHEA), described in this
publication. The research is focused on policies and efforts to introduce the SCL concept to three
different levels: the European, institutional and student perspective, especially addressing the
question of students' motivation in taking an active role in co-creating their learning experience.
This Profile of PHE in Europe contains the first step of the work conducted by the HAPHE partnership, namely the outcomes of our activities aiming at Mapping Professional Higher Education in Europe.
This document provides a roadmap for decision-makers and healthcare and education centre managers and includes a series of recommendations relating to the aspects to be taken into consideration in order to achieve a suitable focus for simulation-based training in their respective centres.
Based on the results of the study performed by the SIMBASE European Project, a proposal has been put forward both for the development of this HANDBOOK TO SIMULATION IMPLEMENTATION in centres that incorporate elements considered as critical success factors, as well as for the use of ICTs throughout the development, monitoring and evaluation process in order to ensure maximum impact.
