The PHExcel Project has published its first report – Quality Tools for Professional Higher Education Review and Improvement

The report Quality Tools for Professional Higher Education Review and Improvement is the project’s first outcome, and provides an overview of quality tools, quality models and quality labels, currently in use in (professional) higher education. It is followed by a gap analysis as regards the Standards and Guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), and the identified characteristics of PHE.

From the report an interactive tool was developed for comparison between quality labels and models.

It contains information on the 18 tools which were selected for further study based on their preliminary compliance with the identified characteristics of professional higher education (PHE). It also presents the results of a first gap analysis towards professional higher education characteristics and a second gap analysis towards the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG).
